Freezing Tomatoes Straight From the Vine

Last year I was so excited to discover that I could freeze tomatoes straight from the vine!!  When the harvest comes in sometimes we don’t have time to deal with the mountain of tomatoes at that exact moment AND sometimes they don’t ripen all at the same time.

Here is a fast and easy way to have your cake (or tomato) and eat it too.. :)

Just take the stems off, wash them, stick them in a bag…..and throw them in the freezer…..

THAT’S IT!!!

When it’s time for you to use them just put them in a sink of hot tap water and the skins will slip right off!!! Thaw in a bowl and use right away or make them into preserves.
